Registration Listing

2026-2027 Fall - Summer Season

This program is for girls eligible to try out for the South Plainfield Parents' Ponytail Association (SPPPA) travel softball program for the 2026-2027 season

For all ages (8u, 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u, 18u) the program is from Fall 2026 through Summer 2027.

Registration process:

STEP 1: (all)

-- Register for tryouts PRIOR to your arrival at the fields for tryouts. There is no fee for this.

STEP 2: (all)

-- Attend at least one tryout session for your age group. It is recommended to attend more than one.

STEP 3: (selected players)

-- If a player is selected for a team, you will be notified via email and then their parent will need to return to this website and:

Accept the position on the team
Pay the appropriate registration fee (for certain ages, a payment plan is available)

PLEASE NOTE:

Athletes who are selected for a travel team will be REQUIRED to:

Register and play softball during the Spring 2027 South Plainfield Recreation Softball Season (up through 7th grade)
All NEW PLAYERS to the program will be required to pay a work bond fee in addition to the registration costs. If this payment is required, more information will be sent to you at a later date. The work bond fee is $100 per family per season.

NOTE REGARDING WORK BONDS: The work bond will be held by SPPPA, and upon completion of the required volunteer duties/hours, your money will roll over / be transferred to the next season. If you do not fulfill required volunteer duties in a season, then the original bond is forfeited, and must be repaid unless you choose to "Buy Out" your hours. If you would like to opt of completing 6 work bond hours per season you can pay $100 per season and your original bond will remain intact. Additional information will be sent if you chose to do this.
